Team & Access Control
Orxa is built for teams. This guide explains how to invite people to your workspace, what each role can do, and how to manage access.
What you'll learn
- How to invite team members to your workspace
- What each role (Owner, Admin, Member) can and can't do
- How to track and manage pending invitations
Invite team members
To add someone to your workspace:
- Go to Access Control → Users in the sidebar
- Click Invite member (top-right)
- Enter their email address
- Choose a role — Admin or Member
- Click Send invitation
They'll receive an email with a link to join. If they don't have an Orxa account yet, they'll be asked to create one first.
Invitations are valid for 7 days. After that, you'll need to send a new one. You can check the status of all invitations in the "Invitations" tab.
Understand roles
Every workspace member has one of three roles. Here's what each one can do:
Owner
Full control. Can do everything an Admin can, plus manage billing and subscription, delete the workspace, and transfer ownership. Each workspace has exactly one Owner (the person who created it).
Admin
Can create and manage agents, upload knowledge, connect integrations, invite and remove members, and view the dashboard. This is the right role for team leads or managers who need to configure things.
Member
Can view agents and their settings, use the playground to test agents, see the dashboard, and view knowledge sources and integrations. This is the right role for team members who need to use the platform but shouldn't change configurations.
Not sure which role to choose? Start with Member — you can always upgrade someone to Admin later. It's easier to give more access than to take it away.
For the complete permission breakdown, visit Access Control → Roles in the app.
Manage invitations
On the Users page, switch to the Invitations tab to see all invitations:
- Pending — sent but not yet accepted
- Accepted — the person has joined your workspace
- Expired — older than 7 days, needs to be resent
- Cancelled — you revoked the invitation
You can revoke any pending invitation by clicking the delete button next to it. This immediately invalidates the invitation link.
When someone accepts an invitation, they appear in the Members tab with the role you assigned. You can change their role later from that tab.
Expected outcome
Your team is now set up with the right roles and access levels. Everyone can collaborate on building and managing AI agents within the boundaries of their permissions.
That's it — you've completed the Orxa product guide! You now know how to create agents, add knowledge, connect integrations, manage conversations, and work with your team.
